The major twist in the game play is that the Professor cannot jump. It's your job to guide the professor back to his lab so he can turn the dial on the rage bot remote back to friendly. Perhaps this doddery old man is not as sweet as he appears after all.Īnyway, the robots become predictably enraged and toss him out of his lab, scattering his equipment and things everywhere in the process. I lurked around a bit before joining as Mario3andU. But then, (I don't remember how.) I found SMW Central. But I still wasn't happy with how you could make games. Eventually I went to a site named "Sploder", and I because popular there for my Mario and Luigi Adventure series. I thought it was fun, but was bored because of the limitations it had. Eventually I just looked up "mario level editor" and just like everyone else, I started with Super Mario Flash. LuaxonĮver since I became a Mario fan (about 4 or 5 years ago) I've been fascinated by making my own Mario game. Skip to the present, making an at least semi-decent ROMhack. I remember almost 5 years prior I was into romhacking! Suddenly, a light bulb hovered over my head. Making videos wasn't my top priority at the time, and I was bored. I felt like I wanted to do something fun. I was bored and I had so little time left in my winter vacation. I eventually gave up because my hack was really bad, even though I worked on it for like 3 weeks. You can just imagine how horrible my levels were considering I was only 11 years old. He sent me Lunar Magic and told me to download a ROM and that's basically what I did. Needless to say the game was horrible, and the people there were obnoxious.įew weeks later I asked my tech-savvy uncle what a ROMhack was. I googled "how to make custom mario levels" and ran into Super Mario Flash. It wasn't special or anything, and in today's time I realize he was just thirsty for subscribers and PM'd random people.īasically I saw the video and I was like "lolwuts a romhack." Being the 11 year old I was I thought it was just some game or something. One day I got a PM from SSoHPKC asking me to watch his video. I was making horrible MS Paint videos that I animated frame by frame and edited together with Windows Movie Maker. It was early 2012, around January-February.
